Join our Hardware team which is responsible for developing a suite of top-notch ultra-low-power devices competing for a leading place in the fast-growing IoT industry. They also design devices that are optimized and tailored to customer requirements, do hardware revisions of the existing products, estimate and measure the power consumption of the assembled devices and design prototype products that are further tested and improved.

You’ll get to…
• Concept and Design of new products from a technical perspective
• Derive technical concepts according to client demands
• Review and evaluation of schematics and designs from our hardware team
• Optimise product performance against battery lifetime and power consumption
• Review of Bill of Materials and product estimations documents
• Research, test, and develop new aconno’s products
• Communicate with clients as well as component manufacturers
• Cooperate with SW and FW teams
What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Hardware- or Electrical Engineering
• Great knowledge of CAD tools (preferably Altium)
• Expert understanding of embedded systems
• Profound knowledge of measurement systems and product testing
• Proficient knowledge of soldering electronic components (both hand and machinery)
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Solid communication and negotiation skills
• High-level time management and organizational skills
• At least B2 proficiency level in English and German
Bonus points:
• Experience with IoT, BLE or Bluetooth 5.0
• Experience with Nordic Semiconductor nRF5xxxxx devices
• Experience in practical circuit design and development
• Understanding microprocessors on a low level (nRF 52 preferably)
• High-level time management and organizational skills
• Experience in the production of PCBs
