As a new concept, we tinkered with mister Celsius (no offense Fahrenheit and Kelvin). The idea was to get an actual precise temperature with a beacon by BLE. Thus we made acnTEMP – a beacon that allows us to measure the external temperature and transmit the data over BLE. You can use PT100 or PT1000 sensors in 2,3 or 4 wire connection mode.
