The range of aconno beacons depends on many factors such as TX power, housing for the beacon, antenna orientation etc. For example, the range on beacons based on nRF52832 with 4dB, direct link without obstacles for BLE (4.2) is around 70-80m. Beacons based on nRF52840, with Coded PHY turned on have range 1000+ meters (1300 for some of our measurements).
